Partnering to Provide Safe, Animal-Free Medication Options and Support for AGS Patients in Cave City
VeganMed, a pioneer in medication transparency, is excited to announce its partnership with Cave City Pharmacy in Cave City, Arkansas. This collaboration aims to improve access to animal-free medications and raise awareness of Alpha-gal Syndrome (AGS) within the community.
Arkansas has one of the highest rates of AGS, a condition triggered by a tick bite that causes allergic reactions to mammalian-derived ingredients, including those found in many medications. Through this partnership, Cave City Pharmacy will provide patients with trusted animal-free alternatives while ensuring safer medication options for AGS patients and those with dietary or religious restrictions.
